1975 Suzuki GT750 - Fuel Petcock

    Message # 218646

    Hi..

I am looking for a gasket kit to rebuild the fuel petcock for my 1975 Suzuki GT750. If anyone knows where I might get one...please let me know.

Would also consider a NOS petcock or a used one that is in decent shape.

    Thanks..

Many of the parts are still available from Suzuki - I normally order from here as the prices, even with the dollar conversion and shipping added, are usually much cheaper than from Canadian Suzuki parts suppliers. Suzuki also sells new petcocks, but they have changed to having a black body rather than bare metal as per the original. Other sources are listed here. If you check the GTReiner parts list you'll see he offers two rebuild kits (44301-31099-000-Z and 44301-31299-000-Z).

    Thanks Ian..

BTW..your website is fantastic...it is great to see all the information you posted about your GT750 build! It will be a very useful resource for me as I embark on my GT750 project.

Would you happen to have a spare float bowl (BS40)? It doesn't seem that this part of the carb is sold separtely anywhere (that I have seen).

    Cheers..

Paul Miller Motorcycle in Kensington, CT, or HVC Cycle in Lincoln, Nebraksa.  Two good sources, google them.
