This is probably one of the few (if only) Mini-bike events in Canada.

All Trials and/or Mini-Bike Hill Climb competitors must be registered CVMG members and sign insurance waiver.

Cost is $10 per person to cover entrance fee (for both/or either event), food, camping and entertainment.  Spectators are free.

BBQ and entertainment for paid CVMG entrants.

Vintage Dirt Bikes will be on display from local riders.

Mini-bike Hillclimb Details

We encourage all CVMG members to get your Mini-Bikes out of moth balls.

Hill Climb will be a timed event.

The hill is not too steep but has obstacles and requires some skill to navigate.  Most moderately powered Mini-bikes will make the grade.

Best time will be King of The Hill 2017 (KOTH) Winner.

Restricted to Mini-Bikes with a maximum rim diameter of 10 inches.

All modifications are allowed (and encouraged).

Mini-bikes must have: properly working throttle, kill switch and brake(s).

Riders must have: gloves, boots and DOT approved (or better) helmet.

Mini-Bike Hill Climb is open to all CVMG Members with a mini-bike. I also have 2 mini-bikes to loan out to S.O.V.T.G. members (treat them with some respect).

Special Guest Rider... *Ted Wilkins* 1990's North American Hill-Climb Champion.

Ted will be riding a Mini-Bike Hill-Climber custom made for him by the Haliburton Secondary School's Autoshop Class.

"Master's Challenge".... Past and current, professional and amateur motorcycle hill-climbers are invited to compete against each other in a grudge match on mini-bikes.

Guided Forest Trail Ride with local rider, Brian Brown (ride your motorcycle or mini-bike).

Directions

We are located at 16376 Highway #35, Algonquin Highlands K0M1J1.

Exactly 4.5 kms north of the intersection of highways #35 and #118.  Only 15 minutes north of Minden and only 5 minutes away from several restaurants, motels and rental cottages.
