    Thanks for posting that link.   As someone who has been playing with sidecars for over forty  years I can identify with the situations described albeit with the sidecar on the other side.  Also, I've driven those English roads back in 77 so I can see it all in my mind.  Too funny.

    thanks for posting that. Oh, the nostalgia.
    BTW, my plunger frame Gold Flash was hitched to a Garrard Grand Prix instead of a Busmar triple adult.
    Note that unlike the Busmar, the Garrard will fit underneath a semi, just in front of the duallys. I dunno what the passenger was fussing about, it wasn't even raining under there.
    And still she married me.

    My first bike at 16years was a BSA M20 with std single sports sidecar. I made up a tradesman's box to haul scrap metal to the taters, later a stake box for bigger stuff. Came home from Bewdly to Birmingham with a dozen Christmas trees in it, plus a fairly big Scots lad who was a wannabe monkey hanging out on the roundabouts. Later on we both had "pride" bikes Mine a sprung hub Thunderbird, his a 88 Dommi, but the fun bike was still the sidecar. Paul.
