I've been a sidecar driver since 1966, did several winters in the maritimes, year round rider. I've built them, modified them, raced them, added suspensions to older models, and continue to look for ways to improve the machines I wrote to the forum a couple of years ago but got no response. I hope it works out better this time.

I had hoped for a little better response. I know there are quite a few sidecar affictionados out there, and my experience is that they are usually enthusiastic about , but I guess they are not into writing about it.

Hi Ian,
I'm in the midst of my 5th sidecar build.
This one puts a recently acquired collision damaged 1982 Velorex 560 onto the 1984 XS650 Heritage Special that I've owned since new.
Me and Mr. Lincoln have got the sidecar frame straightened, added a separate ex-BSA pedal to work the s/c brake and modified the frame mounts to go directly onto the XS650's new subframe.
Now I'm waiting for the paint to dry so I can do a trial assembly.
Those who can attend the Saskatoon Draggins car show this coming Easter can see the rig being assembled at the show's CVMG display.

I have for sale a sidecar frame ...Cozy make, for a left side installation.  Well made, good material, painted black, comes with a very nice fender (black) and heavy articulating wheel spring and shock.  Pictures available, Brian
