Hello All my name is David Howarth and i am the orgenizer of the Vintage Trackdays at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga May 29 and 30 .
I just want to give a breife outline of what this event is all about , the first thing i want to pint out is that it is not a race day no one is there to race or compete with the next guy or gal .
There are 4 classes from a slow class to a fast class , the slow class is excactly that it is perfect for begginer riders , or the chance to ride that old iron that sits at home but never gets to go any where , tha only passing in this group is on the straights only so it is very safe , the next class is Medium which is very mutch the same as the slow class maybe a few K`s faster , the next group is what we call Medium Fast suited to more experianced track riders some on small displacement race bikes some on larger inline 4 cylinder machines passing is only allowed on the straights and exit of corners , the Fast group is as it sounds suited to experianced riders who race and are just generally fast , passing is the same as medium fast to keep it safe .
I am trying to get this event off the ground and make it a fun day for all and i am really tryong to get it to be an all vintage evant but for that i do need the support of all the vintage enthusiast out there even if you dont want to ride at the track it is a fun day to watch and once you do next time you will want to give it a try . If you do you wont stop smilling all day . We are also trying to have a swapmeet so if you have stuff to sell bring it along , the flyer is on the events page . Also if any one out there wants to volenteer to help out that would be great .

Just wanted to say the CVMG track days are a great way to enjoy our vintage machines and vintage friends. The groups are made of mature riders out for a safe spin around the track. Some of these old bikes might not see the light of day otherwise.
Dave Howarth does an excellent job organizing this event and we hope to see more vintage bikes on the track this season.
Machine preparation is quite easy. Fasteners don't need to be wire locked but the fluid drains should at least have silicone smeared on the nut. Tires, brakes and general machine condition should be safe for road use. Apply tape to all the glassware.
Groups 1 and 2 are full for the Saturday but there are still spots left for the Sunday '
Groups 3 and 4 available for both days .
This is the weekend still sunday spots if anyone is interested or just come watch .
Saturday is pretty full .
