Shipping a bike

I'm looking to ship a Honda GL from Ottawa area to Edmonton area.

    Any help would be appreciated

I've gone to the Ritchie Bros site and entered it and received a quote of $900.

I'd like to move it for less.

Last year I shipped a bike from Charlottown PEI to Calgary ,I used Same day transport ,the total cost was $480.00 ,it arrived in Calgary in five days .I just had the seller strap it down to a skid and drain all fluids , I had checked probably over a 100 shipping companies and they were the cheapest ,also they delivered on time .

    Good luck ,Paul

I've used > www. fasfrate.ca several times...BSA > Toronto to Vancouver $300.....*BUT* you must totally enclose it in a sturdy box [plywood]  which a forklift can pick up , so other things can be put on and around it ...It must be as small & light as possible ....You must deliver it to nearest FASTFRATE yard ....If they do all that 4 U , it'll cost a lot more .
