Crankshaft Puller

I need to pull my crankshaft for my Yamaha YM1 305cc back into the bearing in the crank case. Any ingenius ideas as to making a tool from simple garage parts to perform this task. The "hammer the sh.. out of it and make it fit" just won't do it.

    Thanks Gregg

weld a nut or bolt to a threaded rod, screw the nut or bolt into or on the crank end. pass the threaded rod thru the case and place  a hollow tube over the rod and place a large washer and nut onto the rod and draw the crank in.   or use a press or the yamaha tool, I   have a selection that hasnt been used for years
