I have had good luck in the past, contacting campground owners, offering to book a campsite in their campground on the night of my arrival and return and asking if I can park my truck in the meantime. Parking fees have been minimal or non existent. Try a KOA in the area. If you don't like tenting they usually have cabins reasonable.
