Ian, I'd be interested in knowing this too. The local member here in Southern Ontario who used to do them, no longer does, and My BSA needs it's carb bored, and slide re-sleeved, so please keep me in mind if someone surfaces.

Have you tried this person, or is he the one you were referring to who no longer sleeves monoblocs?

I have 2 needing this work on a 67 Bonny, as well as 2 others in poor condition if anyone wants one to try to learn to do this simple procedure on. If you have a small lath and I consult with you on the process, let me know at 416 912 7739

I believe it's still possible to get Monoblocs re sleeved, it's the pre Monoblocs no one is doing. I was told the work involved on the pre Mono slides makes it uneconomical.

Ok....I thought pre concentric would be the same challenge. I have a pre monoblock brass carb with seperate bowl I need a slide for....any ideas on who to contact would be good.

    hey les

I found a guy in the USA but it isn't cheap. I bought an over size 6/4 slide from the Brough Club.

Then used a reamer to fit the new slide.

Thanks Ian, I found a guy in the UK who does them by boring out the body, and fitting an oversize slide. Quite cheap at less than $100can. + shipping  but no email, just a phone number. Bit of a pain in that regard, but .......
